Ljubljanski grad – Ljubljana Castle. Perhaps it is a curiosity, but standing here one is not even 200 kilometers from Venice, more like 180, and rather less than half that far from Trieste. The Ljubljana Castle has a thousand year history, though most of the extant structures date from the XV and XVI centuries. |

Strop v Grajska kapela sv. Jurij – the Chapel is one of the oldest built parts of the castle. Since 1489 it been dedicated to Saints George, Pancras and Empress Helena. |
